Alsar

With his mane blowing gently in the wind this magnificent lion will add beauty wherever he is placed.
In 2006 a call was made to all Artists in Vermont to participate in a palate project. We each received a wooden palate shape to do with what we wished. I designed Alsar and hooked him to fit my palate. ( the pattern does not have the "thumb" hole!) The local Artists Cooperative I belonged to sold the palates to raise funds to support the gallery and local artists, particularly for young kids. Hence the holes you see! The pattern does not have the holes.
