Awakening Field

This wool of this piece is wonderful, so tightly woven! A mix of greens over a Chartreuse base color. It reminded me of early Spring grass when its new bright Green emerges mixed with the old yellow decayed grass. A nice piece for landscapes and foliage. To my eye it appears with more Green area than the Shaded Yellow. It blends well with Pistachio and Light Kiwi Chiffon. Nice contrast with Spring Green and Rose Green Leaves. Gorgeous with Purple Luster, Purple Exotica, Dolly's Orchid, Blackberry Smash and Blooming Violet.

The base wool is 83 % wool and 18 % nylon. It has a nice hand and hooks beautifully and Nylon is a very strong fiber. Easily hooks in a #3.
